How do you warm up medium rare steak without it cooking?
I have a left over, medium rare steak, and I don’t want it to cook anymore when I heat it up. What’s the best method?
Suggestion by jimmy d.
Cover with plastic wrap and heat in microwave on med. for a minute.

To warm it you will always cook it a little more.
No way around that ( even in the microwave which I don’t like to do).
I would stick it in the oven for 5-6 minutes to get it hot or at least warm again but it still won’t be as medium rare at it was when it went in.
Also remember that if you cooked it and left it out awhile it still was cooking even though it wasn’t on any fire.
Example, if you cooked two identical sized steaks at the same time and ate one and left the other out for 10 minutes, the 1st one you ate would be rarer then the one left out( because the one left out is still cooking).

great question…have the same problem all the time. I found just re-heating it in the microwave ..not on regular power. plus I have to slice it a bit, bc the center is too cold to thaw without overcooking it again…that way it julienne -type slices will reheat quicker

How long does it take for a semigloss, medium base paint to dry?
I painted a medium size ceramic pot and was wondering how long it would take to dry.
Suggestion by TK 2007
To the touch, latex 30 mins and oil 3-4 hours. To recoat or just to make sure it’s dry, latex 4 hours oil 8-10.
Hope it looks nice!
