Do you believe in magic? They say that some people can influence other people in bad or good way.?

Suggestion by Christy-Atheati Vile Temptress
From what I have learned, those who truly practice magic do not believe in interfering with the free will of another human being.

I dont think influence has anything to do with magic,or with the person doing the influencing. Its all about the person who’s letting themselves be influenced and the reason why they’re doing it.

Free psychic reading?
I would like to know what the future stands for my ex-boyfriend and father of my baby, Gio, dob 12011994 and me? Ivana 10-16-1992, do you see us being good parents to our son? Anything more? How many more children will I have in the future? Is there anyone new for me? Will this be a good year for me? Thanks soooo much!! I need honesty and clarity. Many people said we would be together, others said absolutely not. Please be honest, thanks.

Psychics are con artists.

Do you think ANYONE can predict what will happen to you? Do you really believe in this crap? Okay, I’ll be honest: If psychic readings were accurate and the belief were real, 9/11 could have been prevented, World War I and II wouldn’t have happened, etc.

Live life at this moment instead of the future – be a good parent now. Enjoy the son you have now and everything will work out just the way it’s supposed to.

I can influence people in bed in a good way.

    The ladies say it’s magic.

Not really. I’m a strange pagan. I believe most “magic” is science and psychology.

You don’t need magic to influence people in a good or bad way. People are easily manipulated, most people have hardly any control of their emotions and cave in on them without much thought.

If I were to say something mean to you, you would likely feel hurt and feed off of that pain. That is exactly what trolls of this forum do, they manipulate the minds of the weak.

    Absolutely.

ps. While I as a mage do not believe in interfering with another person’s true will, this very interference is what creates the definition of “black magick.” So, someone must believe it is okay to tak another’s free will away from them. This, I guess is the reason for the need of reading Dion Fortune’s book “Psychic Self Defense.”

I believe in and practice magic. I do not do anything to another against their will, however.

In general, I think if somebody says they have ‘Magical Power’ and influence people, they are con-artists. They might either be people who have grown up in a culture that believes in magic, witchcraft, etc. or it could be people looking for something in their lives and “magic” or something like that comes along. If somebody believes, really believes a four leaf clover will give them good luck and they find one, they might start thinking of good things as being “lucky”. It’s the same thing if somebody has “magic”.

I’m not talking about illusionists on stage, but they all kind of try and fool people in one way or another. It’s basically making a person think something is happening whether it is or not.

I don’t know about the satanic things. I believe in God, and believe Satan exists, but don’t really think some things attributed to him are more than human actions.

    No.

Magic in another way of saying “supernatural” as of an event or effect.
Most people believe in a religion which teaches of supernatural events and miracles. I do not believe in this.

Others use the word “magic” to represent tricks. I do believe that people can perform tricks and illusions called magic.

Yes and you can read about it in my chaos magick portal on my Web site. I don’t believe in “magick” like in Harry Potter (although I love the movies) or Teen Witch and that sort of fantasy stuff. I also don’t follow the spiritual model of magick of medieval and modern-era ceremonial magicians (like Aleister Crowley) and I don’t mix magic with religion (like witchcraft and Wicca or magick and Thelema). I believe that magic is affecting change through will and that as the 16th century philosopher Giordano Bruno said: “A magician is a wise man who has the power to act.”That is, to have true insight and control of things. This kind of magic and mysticism are closely aligned and get into complex philosophical and psychological ideas that are a far cry from what most people think of when they see the word “magic.”

Failing that I hope that you find some clarity soon and all your questions are answered.
    Peace and blessings,
