Pretty much the same though they would not say so.
satan/demons try this. satan/demons have been around since the beginning so they know much about family, friends and others. Psychics use demons to tell them things like this. A demon will tell them to tell you something like this: ‘your mom will call you in two days’. And then to make this happen demons go to your mom’s house in two days and whisper until she calls you. Demons just manipulated your mom to call you, but you think the psychic is something. Well they are evil and use evil to do and/or influence things to keep you from God.
Do not invite evil into your life or that of others.

also what is parapsychology?
and what classifies a paranormal event?

A medium would be someone who can talk to ghosts. A doppelganger is someone who looks just like someone else. A demon would be an evil entity of some sort (with religious connotations), a spirit and ghost would be a dead person hanging around (spirit also has religious connotations). Keep in mind none of this stuff actually exists; it’s just fiction. Parapsychology would be the study of the paranormal from a psychological point of view (they’ve never found anything to actually study) and a paranormal event would be something not explainable by science (also never shown to happen).

Well great job Eri!

The definitions will vary, depending on the person answering you, but here’s a general idea:
Medium – a person who communicates (or claims to communicate) with the dead. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mediumship
Doppelganger – German word for a twin or person who closely resembles you. This is reportedly unlucky. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/doppelganger
Demon, spirit and ghost… almost every paranormal enthusiast has different definitions. Generally, spirits are any disembodied entity. Spirits may include ghosts and demons. Demons are most often considered negative spirits, although other people define this differently. Ghosts may refer to spirits, or may more specifically refer to someone who is dead but tries to act like and be around the living. Again, definitions are as hazy as the subjects. You’re likely to find a good answer by reading more, or by picking your own definitions.
Parapsychology refers to the study of the mind that does not fall into regular psychology. Para means “beside” or “to the side of” or “beyond”. Just like paranormal means beyond normal, parapsychology goes beyond psychology. It deals with the study of moving things with the mind, knowing the future, experiencing things at a distance, and other fields that are not proven science. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parapsychology
Paranormal is anything not explainable with regular science and regular experience. Any dealings with spirits (or ghosts or demons), psychic experiences, telling the future, and other strange occurrences likely classify as paranormal.
Hope this helps!
