What six pokemon should I use to go through the pokemon diamond story mode?
The six pokemon I should go through from the start all the way to battle the elite 4. Thanks. Feel free to put what moves I should use for each pokemon.

Wow, this is tough. Okay… these are the TYPES I would suggest:
You should have a water/dragon, they only have one weakness, which is dragon. Unfortunately, there are only two Pokemon of this type: Palkia and Kingdra.
If not a water/dragon, then a rock/water type would seem useful. The only thing that I can think of at the moment that would be its weakness would have to be grass, and that move type is rare along the storyline. Unfortunately, these, too, are also rare.
A fighting type does quite well against about half of Team Galactic’s Pokemon, except it’s horrible against poison. So, bring along a water, fire, or psychic type.
Now, Blissey is almost always a plus while on a team. Not only is it a literal sponge for special attacks, but its HP is horribly high to boot. You get a Happiny egg from hiker-looking guy in Hearthrome, so leave room in your party. Just watch out for physical attacks, and you’ll be fine.
Now, all of the starter Pokemon have their pros and cons. Turtwig has good defense but is none too fast; Chimchar is pretty much a physical sweeper; Piplup can be a mixed sweeper. Any of those Pokemon have pretty much equal opportunity in the Diamond storyline. I chose Piplup, and it was my second-best Pokemon (only after Mewtwo, of whom I got in a trade with a friend).
Your rival will always have a flying type Pokemon. Get a rock- or electric-type Pokemon to stop it in its tracks. Also, he/she will have your starter Pokemon’s opposite, so I would suggest nabbing a fire-, electric-, psychic-, flying-, grass-, or water-type Pokemon early in the game, depending on the type of your rival’s Pokemon. (fire and flying for Turtwig, psychic, water and flying for Chimchar, and electric and grass for Piplup).
Dialga is a Steel/Dragon type, and almost certainly a physical or special sweeper. Once you’ve gotten that legendary, you’re pretty well off. Make sure you don’t faint it, and don’t capture it using your Master Ball! Save it for Cresselia, or Mesprit – or for that one Legendary Pokemon that just won’t get caught.
The Champion has a Milotic on her side – an electric-type would do the job with Volt Tackle (Pikachu!), as Milotic has Mirror Coat – an annoyingly powerful move that reflects double the special damage you caused back on to you. Bring along a dark-type to crush her Spiritomb, and finish the job with Roar of Time (Dialga) on her Garchomp and Lucario.
Don’t put a psychic-type Pokemon first in your party when you go to the first person in the Elite Four – he has bug types on his side. The second person has rock-types plus a Quagsire, so bring a grass-type along. The third person is straight fire-types (or at least as far as I can remember), so bring rock-, ground-, or water-types with you. And finally, the fourth person is pure psychic with one mean Alakazam – leave your Chimchar (or its evolutions!) at home, and bring fire-, dark-, -bug, and other types that would irritate the fourth person. (The fire-type because Alakazam knows Energy Ball, which is a grass-type move.)
You get a Riolu egg from Riley after escorting him through some caves. The Riolu (fighting-type) evolves into Lucario (fighting-dragon-type).
I realize that this is somewhat vague, but after getting your starter, it should sort itself out.

Reuniclus, Slowking, or Victini if you want another fire type, I would recommend VICTINI.

Alakazam or Gallade would make good additions to that team.

Alakazam. His Special Attack powers are very strong but his Physical Defenses aren’t that very good but he’s specially good against the ghostly Gengar.
